Celebrating Forty Years! Join Yuma Symposium for a very special anniversary celebration of this remarkable gathering of artist from around the country.

The Yuma Symposium is a series of demonstrations, lectures and slide presentations given by both internationally recognized and emerging artists who have demonstrated unusual talent. Activities include an exhibit of work by presenters and a student show, the National Saw, File, & Solder Sprints, the annual pin auction, shopping and eating in Algodones, Mexico, and a fiesta and dance on Saturday night.
The Yuma Symposium begins on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 with registration, a social gathering and the traditional pin swap from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Lute’s Casino, 221 S Main Street. Slides and informal introductions of the presenters will follow at 7 pm.
This two-day festival will pack Main Street with mouthwatering BBQ, a country music concert each night, mechanical bull riding, outdoor yard games, our kids’ corner featuring new attractions, dozens of unique
craft vendors, and of course, ice cold brew from Yuma’s first and only microbrewery, Prison Hill Brewing Co.
The City of Yuma Utilities Department presents the annual Main Street Water Treatment Facility Open House and Touch-a-Truck Event, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at 175 N. Main St. The event is free to attend.Read More

This event is a United for Yuma effort, and one of three Day of Unity’s spearheaded by Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls within the last several years. The event aims to serve as a volunteer-driven initiative, where local residents can give back to their community in a united, collaborative event. All costs and work are by local residents and staff.
