As Chief of Police, I am honored to not only serve the community of Yuma, but also the dedicated members of the police department who care about the community they live and serve in.  Whether you are a resident or a visitor from out of town, you are a member of our community.  We are most effective at working in partnership with our community to employ problem-solving strategies to address crime, safety, and quality of life issues through our guiding principles of fairness, transparency, and impartiality. The highly skilled members of this department understand the challenges of modern policing and will work tirelessly to serve this community.
