City of Yuma Water Conservation Plan

To ensure a reliable, affordable and sustainable water supply for current and future generations, the City of Yuma develops and maintains a Water Conservation Plan in accordance with state and federal requirements. This plan serves as a roadmap for using water efficiently, reducing waste, and protecting Yuma’s water resources.

The plan outlines how the City measures and manages water use, plans for future demand, and partners with the community to make conservation a shared responsibility. It is reviewed and updated at least every five years, or more frequently if required by regulatory changes or local conditions.
