WEDDINGS

Wedding ceremonies are held by appointment only after parties have obtained marriage license from Yuma County Superior Court. For additional information regarding the requirements and cost for marriage license visit https://www.yumacountyaz.gov/government/courts/clerk-of-superior-court/marriage-license.

Upon marriage license being obtained an appointment can be scheduled for wedding ceremony by calling (928) 373-4800. Appointments are conducted based on judge availability and after 5:00 p.m. Ceremony fee is $90.00 cash (exact change) if held at Yuma Municipal Court. Ceremony fee is subject to if held offsite.

Please be at lobby by 4:30 p.m. on the day of your ceremony scheduled. Ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. You will need 2 witnesses who are at least 18 years of age (the court can provide witnesses if needed).

In the City of Yuma Municipal Court, weddings are a discretionary function rather than a mandatory function of the court. This means that a judge will not interrupt or delay any court proceeding in order to perform a marriage ceremony. Weddings are conducted after 5 p.m.

Please call ahead to check availability at 928-373-4800. Make sure you and your party arrive well before 4:45 p.m. to ensure you have enough time to clear security and sign in at the court window. Courthouse doors lock at precisely 5 p.m. and no one may enter after that.
