A single-family residence is a detached home designed to house one household and is the most common type of residential development in the community. Through the Permit-Ready Plans Program, the City offers three pre-approved single-family home designs that streamline the building process while maintaining quality and design standards. These plans provide a range of layouts and features to accommodate different lifestyles, allowing homeowners and builders to move more quickly from concept to construction with confidence in code compliance.

Prior to using any plan, applicants must complete and submit the required Permit-Ready Plans Waiver and Use Agreement (PDF) .
