The City of Yuma’s Permit-Ready Plans Program is designed to make residential construction faster, easier, and more predictable for property owners, builders, and our community.

Through this program, the City provides a selection of pre-reviewed residential building plans that have been designed to meet applicable building codes and local requirements. By completing much of the plan review process in advance, these plans can help reduce the time, cost, and uncertainty often associated with designing and permitting a new home.

Property owners and builders can select from a variety of available home designs and submit the plans for an expedited permit review process. While each project must still meet site-specific requirements, including zoning, setbacks, utilities, and other applicable standards, the Permit-Ready Plans Program helps simplify the path from concept to construction.

Prior to using any plan, applicants must complete and submit the required Permit-Ready Plans Waiver and Use Agreement (PDF) .
