The City of Yuma welcomes residents to attend and participate in City Council meetings. City Council meetings provide an opportunity for the public to stay informed on local issues, hear discussions on City business, and participate in the public process.
The City of Yuma City Council meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the City Hall Council Chambers, One City Plaza.
City Council Worksessions are held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays preceding City Council Meetings in the City Council Chambers.
City Council meeting agendas, packets, legal summaries, and minutes are available online for public access.

The City Clerk’s Office maintains records of all City Council proceedings and provides notice of all City Council meetings and actions taken by the Council.
Please Note: As of February 2015, all future City Council meeting agendas, packets, legal summaries and meeting minutes will be hosted on an external web site.

Call to the Public
Call to the Public is an itemized agenda category included on the regular scheduled City Council Meeting. Call to the Public is an opportunity for the public to sign up at the meeting. Speakers wanting to comment on issues not listed on the agenda should be aware that the Arizona Open Meeting Law permits City Council to discuss only those items listed on the agenda. If you would like to participate in a City Council meeting, a Speaker Request Form is required and will be available at the entrance to the City Council chambers on the day of the City Council meeting. City Clerk's Office staff is available in the Council Chambers, prior to each meeting, to assist with completing the form and information concerning agenda items.
