Typical Violation Process
When a code violation is identified, the tenant or property owner is notified by mail and given 30 working days to correct the problem. Re-inspections are conducted until the issue is resolved. If the violation remains uncorrected after two notices, the case may be referred to the City Prosecutor and Municipal Court, where fines may be imposed.
