Any person intending to manufacture, sell or deal in spirituous liquor in the state of Arizona must apply for a spirituous liquor license through the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.

Notice of Special Event Liquor License Application Fee Increase
The Special Event Liquor License Application Fee for the City of Yuma will increase to $50 effective March 20, 2019, in accordance with Ordinance O2019-008 adopted by City Council on February 20, 2019. The application fee, which was last adjusted in 2004, was increased to more accurately reflect the cost of the staff time necessary to process each application and prepare it to be placed on an agenda for City Council approval. A Special Event Liquor License is a temporary permit which allows a charitable, civic, fraternal, political or religious organization to sell and serve spirituous liquor. Consumption is allowed only on the premises where the spirituous liquor is sold, and only for the period authorized on the license.
Special Event Liquor License Applications and Extension of Premises/Patio Permits are filed with the local jurisdiction first, and then forwarded to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for final approval. If the location in question is within unincorporated Yuma County, please file your documents with Yuma County. Applications for for a Special Liquor License may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office or the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
