Witness Sought in Hit and Run Collision on 24th Street

On Monday, May 18, 2015 at approximately 5:20 p.m., Yuma Police officers responded to a hit and run collision in the 2500 block W. 24th Street, just east of Avenue B in the through lane.

A red older Toyota Corolla with unknown Sonora, Mexico license plate collided with the rear of a tan Honda 4 door sedan, causing the Honda to collide with the rear of a white Hyundai 4 door sedan. The driver of the Corolla fled northbound on Avenue B. No injuries were reported.

The investigation is on-going. The Yuma Police Department encourages any witness to the collision to contact the Yuma Police Department.
