City, Civic Center bring back New Year’s Eve Family Fun Night

The City invites residents and visitors to bring their whole families out for the return of New Year’s Eve Family Fun Night, 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 31 at the Yuma Civic Center, 1440 W. Desert Hills Drive.

Attendees can enjoy an entertaining evening filled with games, jumpy castles, music and plenty of celebration, designed with the whole family in mind.

The evening’s activities will include both indoor and outdoor games in the Yuma Main Hall, East Wing and Sunset Terrace, a scavenger hunt, music, crafts, free face painting, jumpy castles and slide, toys, prizes and live coverage of the New Year’s Eve ‘ball drop’ in New York City on the Civic Center’s jumbo screens.

The event is open to the general public. Admission is $1 dollar per family member; children three years of age and younger may enter for free.

New Year’s Eve Family Fun Night is designed for all ages. The activity stations and planned events will be categorized into age groups.

Childcare will not be provided at this event; the City asks that parents plan to supervise their children during the activities.

No outside food or drink is allowed.
