Yuma Rocks, a showcase of the region’s music scene, will be held Friday, September 5 at 7 p.m. at the Historic Yuma Theatre (254 S. Main Street).

Five local bands have been selected to perform 25-minute sets at Yuma Rocks.

“I’m really excited for Yuma to hear the creative sounds being displayed this year,” said Events Operations Leader Izai Juarez. “These bands are new to Yuma Rocks. It’s great to be able to expose music fans to new or different talents.”

“I’m thrilled to welcome another year of Yuma Rocks!” said Arts and Culture Program Manager Ana Padilla. “It’s always inspiring to see our local bands light up the stage and bring our community together through music.”

Tickets are $15 per person for general admission and are available for purchase online at yumashowtickets.com or by phone at 928-373-5202.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. the night of the show. A concession stand and bar will be open and merchandise such as t-shirts will be available for purchase.
