Yuma Fire and Police Chaplain Program receives generous community support

Post Date:07/09/2025 9:28 AM

The Yuma Fire Department and Yuma Police Department would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to several outstanding community partners who have stepped forward to support the launch of our new Public Safety Chaplain Program.

This vital program provides emotional and spiritual support to first responders, their families, and members of the public during times of crisis. Thanks to the generosity of local churches, businesses, and civic leaders, we are better equipped to care for those who serve our community.

We would like to especially thank the following supporters for their donations and commitment to public safety:

  • Church for the City
  • New Mountain Church
  • Stone Ridge Church
  • United Yuma Firefighters
  • Nova Home Loans
  • Douglas Nicholls, Mayor of the City of Yuma

Your contributions have directly supported the growth of this program allowing for training, outreach, and the resources needed to ensure our chaplains are prepared to assist those in need.

This is a powerful reminder that when community and public safety come together, we can create meaningful support-systems that last.

Thank you for investing in the well-being of our first responders and the people they protect.
