Effective today (January 8th) Fire Captain David Padilla Jr will be the point of contact for all public information requests for the City of Yuma Fire Department (YFD). Please feel free to route any future requests for information through David.
David is a 10+-year member of YFD and has over 20 years in the fire service. He is a Captain currently assigned to Fire Administration for public information at YFD. David holds certifications as a Paramedic, Hazardous Materials Technician, and Technical Rescue Technician. David is very approachable, extremely knowledgeable, and excited for the opportunity to craft the image of the Yuma Fire Department, and work with local media outlets and personalities.
