Parks & Recreation

The City of Yuma Parks and Recreation Department maintains over 600 acres of parks and facilities, including 32 parks, 8 neighborhood basin parks, 9 athletic complexes, 2 golf courses, 19 City buildings, a gymnasium, outdoor courts, and volleyball courts. Amenities include playgrounds, BBQs, ramadas, benches, tables, water features, and walking paths.

Divisions include Grounds Maintenance, Urban Forestry, Downtown Mall, Baseball Complex, Golf Course Maintenance, Graffiti Abatement, and Facilities Maintenance.

This quiet neighborhood park features a playground for children ages 5 - 12, a walking path and grassy, open play space. This facility was built in conjunction with the Saguaro subdivision. It is a joint use neighborhood park for the area residents and a stormwater retention basin.
