The City of Yuma has great quality water - and we're proud of that! In fact, our water continues to meet or exceed State and Federal drinking water standards.
We employ a team of experienced and dedicated professionals to ensure that the public receives quality water. Every year we conduct more than 4,000 tests for 240 different contaminants at our water sources and throughout the water system. In addition to testing and monitoring our drinking water, the City has a Cross Connection Control Program to address actual or potential connections between our drinking water pipes and potential sources of contamination.
