Summer Six Pack Wrapping Up, But ‘Don’t Tell Mother’
The sixth and final week of the Historic Yuma Theatre’s 2008 Summer Six Pac features four performances of the hilarious play “Don’t Tell Mother.”
The performance pace is “rapid-fire” and the laughter “nonstop” in this play by Monk Ferris that tells the story of a timid librarian. On the evening she and her mother are to entertain her fiancé and his mother at a serene family dinner, the librarian comes home in shock because she has witnessed a bank robbery and is the only one who can identify the crook. All kinds of mistaken identity, hilarious dialogue, and a maniacal vacuum cleaner are sure to entertain any audience!
All seats are reserved. Advance tickets are available through the Theatre and Yuma Art Center, both located at 254 S. Main Street (373-5202); the Yuma Civic Center, 1440 W. Desert Hills Drive (373-5040); online via http://www.yumaaz.gov/; or at the door.
