Park benches can be adopted for a variety of occasions or reasons. You, your organization or your business can fund a park bench in one of Yuma's parks. A park bench may also be placed in the park of your choice in honor or memory of a loved one. Through a memorial bench relatives and loved ones can provide a unique dedication. All benches are a valuable contribution to the Yuma park system and are utilized by children, youth and adults alike. All park bench donations are tax deductible.
The need for the entire West Wetlands Park is 40 benches. Our immediate need is 7 benches for the tree trail surrounding the Stewart Vincent Wolfe Playground at the West Wetlands Park. Help us complete the tree trail by providing seating along the pathway. Benches can also be purchased and located at other Yuma Parks.
Have The Inscription Of Your Choice
Benches are available for adoption for just $1,500. Yuma Parks and Recreation will install and maintain the bench for its useful life. Each bench will be placed on a concrete pad. The City of Yuma will provide a small metal plaque for installation on your park bench. Donors can have an inscription of their choice on their bench.
Whatever the reason, your generous gift will be recognized and appreciated by the Yuma park system. All donations are tax deductible. Yuma Parks and Recreation would like to thank you for considering this heartfelt donation.
