Summary:
The City of Yuma and the public came together to celebrate Arbor Day with a tree planting at the West Wetlands Park.
The City of Yuma along with interested citizens celebrated Arbor Day on April 25, 2008 beginning at 8:00 a.m. with a tree planting in the Yuma West Wetlands. Ten pecan trees that were donated to the City were planted. The pecan trees will provide an additional food source for wildlife and help beautify the park.
