On Thursday, February 28, 2013, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Yuma Police Department in locating a suspect from an armed robbery case in Ventura County, California.
The suspect, Christian Samuel Frias, 19 years of age, was wanted for his involvement in a robbery that occurred on January 23, 2013 at the Silverstrand Beach parking lot. Frias and another suspect robbed two victims of their valuables after displaying a handgun and a tire iron.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office developed information that Frias was staying with his girlfriend at a relative’s residence in the 2900 block of S. 1st Avenue.
