Left Turns Opening at 16th and Riley; New Traffic Signal at 8th Street, 14th Avenue

Avenue 3E and 24th Street

Avenue 3E remains closed between 24th Street and 32nd Street for widening and resurfacing. Work on 24th Street west of the rail spur crossing will shift to requiring only lane restrictions in spot locations within the next week. Businesses in the general vicinity are open and access is available; please plan ahead to reach your destination.

16th Street Widening - ADOT Project

Crews will remove traffic control barriers and allow left turns at the intersection of Riley Avenue and 16th Street. With the raised concrete median installed and the widened roadway, ADOT is able to allow left turns while still allowing traffic to safely travel through the intersection.

Traffic along 16th Street remains restricted to one lane in each direction between Yuma Palms Parkway and Arizona Avenue. Please plan ahead to reach your 16th Street destination.

Traffic Signal Installation, 8th Street at 14th Avenue

The City of Yuma will be installing a traffic signal at the intersection of 8th Street and 14th Avenue beginning as soon as Tuesday, Sept. 7. Motorists should use caution and obey traffic control devices when approaching and traveling through this area.

40th Street Water Transmission Line, Avenue 3E to 6E

40th Street is getting set to reopen between Avenue 3-1/2E and Avenue 4E as the water transmission line project progresses.

Avenue B to Avenue C, 1st Street to 8th Street Sewer Project - Yuma County Project

Work is under way on sewer lines in a general area between 1st and 8th streets and avenues B to C. Occasional closures and lane restrictions will take place at varying times during the course of this project.

I-8 Rock Fall Containment at Telegraph Pass - ADOT Project

ADOT's rock fall containment project has traffic restricted to one lane in each direction on westbound I-8 between just east of Foothills Boulevard and Dome Valley through the end of the month. Eastbound I-8 is now back to two lanes of traffic.
