Art Center, Civic Center To Go On Hiatus
The Art Center and the Civic Center will be having a hiatus for two weeks in August. This is in an effort to trim costs wherever possible. The Art Center will be closed from Aug. 9-23. There will be customer service representatives available by phone at 373-5202 and by email to facilitate class registrations, tickets sales, rentals and reservations. The Civic Center will be closed Aug. 6-18. They will also have customer service representatives available by phone at 373-5040 for rentals at the Civic Center.
Take Pride inYuma
There were 55 cases of graffiti abated the week of Aug. 4-10; there were also 55 the prior week.
Graffiti cleanup and vandalism currently costs the Yuma taxpayers over $200,000 per year. Please help us reduce vandalism by reporting incidences of crime to 78-Crime (782-7463) and graffiti to the Graffiti Busters hot line, 329-2828. If you witness a crime in progress, call 911.
