The final draft of the Historic North end Corridor Plan is complete. This document is the culmination of 12 months of planning and research with North end business owners, property owners, residents, and community organizations; to identify barriers and solutions to revitalization of this historic corridor of Yuma. This document addresses solutions and incentives for reshaping the North End into the entertainment, nightlife, specialized retail center of Yuma. We would like to hear the public's thoughts about the revitalization plan. Please take some time to review it and let us know what you think.

About the Historic North End Corridor Plan: A Main Street Renewal Project

The Historic North End Corridor Plan is a written guide for various public and private stakeholders to make appropriate land use, design and development decisions in the Plan area. It will promote projects deemed appropriate through the use of economic incentives.

Cover of the Historic North End Corridor Plan.This plan builds upon previous plans and policy statements created in the past for this area and serves as an update to the previous plans, accounting for the existing environment in the North End and public's desires for the area. The Plan covers a wide range of topics including the history of Yuma, previous plans and policy, analysis of existing conditions, and desires for the future. It concludes with recommendations for revitalization of the plan area and an implementation program.
