Nate Broadhead from Community Development discusses the update of the Conservation and Environmental Element of the City of Yuma 2012 General Plan which includes a new section: an Energy Element. This element identifies plans to protect natural resources and mitigate impacts on the environment from urban development and identifies policies that encourage and provide incentives for efficient use of energy and greater uses of renewable energy.
