Noah Cullis from Community Development discusses the update of the Redevelopment Element of the City of Yuma 2012 General Plan which includes a new section, "Neighborhood Preservation and Revitalization." The Redevelopment Element identifies plans for community redevelopment and the elimination of blighted areas. It also includes the identification of programs that promote home ownership, assistance to improve appearance, promote maintenance for commercial and residential and provide for safety and security of neighborhoods.
