Three City Issues To Be Decided In May Election
Yuma, Arizona - Request forms for early ballots will be mailed the week of March 15 to all registered voters living within the City of Yuma.
Those who wish to vote in the May 18, 2010 special election by mail are encouraged to return the form, postage paid to the Yuma County Recorder's Office.
Early voting begins April 22, meaning that requested ballots will be mailed out starting that date.
Three City of Yuma issues are on the May 18 ballot.
- A Yuma City Charter amendment regarding local preference.
- A franchise question regarding Arizona Public Service Company.
- A franchise extension question regarding Southwest Gas Corporation.
The state of Arizona will also have a temporary tax question on this ballot.
