Aggravated Robbery at Navy Federal Credit Union

On Friday, January 22nd, 2010, at 9:32 pm, Yuma Police Officers were dispatched to the Navy Federal Credit Union at 1683 S. Arizona Avenue reference to a female lying on the ground.

On Friday, January 22nd, 2010, at 9:32 pm, Yuma Police Officers were dispatched to the Navy Federal Credit Union at 1683 S. Arizona Avenue reference to a female lying on the ground.

The investigation revealed a 21 yr old female was obtaining money from the ATM when she was approached by two males that were hiding in the area. The males demanded victim's money at which time the victim was struck in the face and then robbed of an undisclosed amount of money. Both males ran west from the scene.

The victim was treated at the scene by Yuma Fire Department personnel for minor head injuries.

First male suspect described as: a black male, approximately 18 to 21 yrs of age, slender build, wearing a blue San Diego Chargers knit cap with a lightning bolt emblem, dark long sleeve shirt or jacket and dark pants. Second male described as: a light skinned male, approximately 18 to 21 yrs of age, slender build wearing dark clothing.
