This is follow-up to the murder investigation of Joseph Loera, 29 yr old male, found with a gunshot to his chest near 15th Street and 9th Avenue on 12/20/09, at 11:30 pm.

On Saturday, January 2nd, 2010, at 7:43 pm, Cesar Angulo Jr., 30 yr old male, was arrested after he attempted to run out the back door from officers at 2724 W. 26th Lane.

During the course of the investigation, Alesha Ahlquist, 19 yr old female, and Tara Contreras, 22 yrs old female, were also arrested.

Cesar Angulo Jr. was later booked in the Yuma County Detention Center for the Second Degree Murder of Joseph Loera. Alesha Ahlquist and Tara Contreras were booked in the Yuma County Detention Center for Hindering Prosecution to a Second Degree Murder.
