At about 11:30PM on Sunday December 20, 2009 officers responded to the area of 15th Street and 9th Avenue for the report of a shot fired.

At about 11:30PM on Sunday December 20, 2009 officers responded to the area of 15th Street and 9th Avenue for the report of a shot fired.  When officers, arrived a subject was located in the 1500 block alleyway between 9th and 10th Avenue who had suffered a gunshot wound.  The male subject was transported to The Yuma Regional Medical Center and later pronounced deceased.
