Safe Driving Tip: During 2007 in Arizona there were over 378,000 people involved in traffic collisions. Of those people, over 323,000 or about 86% were know to be wearing seatbelts. Of the people wearing seatbelts, less than 1/10th of 1 percent were killed and less than 15 percent were injured.1 These statistics demonstrate that seatbelts do save lives. The Yuma Police Department encourages all motorists to do their part by buckling up and as always Drive Safe!

On the Web: Roadway construction information, to include traffic restrictions, occurring within the City of Yuma, can be found on the City's website at http://www.YumaAZ.gov/news. Look for the road construction icon.
