Summary:

On 12/4/09 at approximately 4:30 PM a bicyclist crossing 24th Street at Madison Avenue was struck on the right side by a vehicle.

On 12/4/09 at approximately 4:30 PM a bicyclist crossing 24th Street at Madison Avenue was struck on the right side by a vehicle. The bicyclist was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center and later flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix with life threatening injuries. The bicyclist has been identified as 42 year old, Anthony Steven Castenada, of Yuma.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anybody with any information about the accident to please contact Traffic Investigator Clay Lawson at (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous.
