On Saturday, November 14th, 2009, at approximately 1213 hours, an armed robbery occurred in the area of 8th Street and Avenue A in Yuma. Two victims in a vehicle were robbed by the occupants of a tan late 90's Ford Crown Victoria.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20's to 30's, medium build and height, wearing a black short-sleeve shirt with black Dickie-style pants. This suspect had a goatee, a flame tattoo on his right arm and a tattoo of dice on his left shoulder area. The 2nd suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20's to 30's, also of medium height and build, wearing a white shirt and possibly blue jeans.
The suspects blocked in the victims and claimed to be undercover officers. No weapon was displayed, but the suspects told the victims they would shoot them "if they made a wrong move." No license plate was obtained on the suspect vehicle.
