City Reminds Motorists 4th Avenue Will Be Closed For Parade That Morning

Yuma, Arizona - Yuma City Hall will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.  Residential garbage pickup will be unaffected this week.

The annual Veterans Day parade is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. that morning, traveling on 4th Avenue south from 16th Street, then east on 25th Street, then south on Virginia Drive to the American Legion Post 19 at 2575 S. Virginia Drive.  Motorists are advised not to attempt to access or cross that stretch of 4th Avenue from approximately 8 a.m. until the end of the parade.

Residents can still pay their city services bill, register for a Parks and Recreation program and more whenever City Hall is closed by visiting http://www.yumaaz.gov/.
