Fire In House Under Construction

On Monday October 26, 2009 at 2:50 am a large fire was reported in the area of 32nd Street and Avenue C.

On Monday October 26, 2009 at 2:50 am a large fire was reported in the area of 32nd Street and Avenue C. Yuma Fire Department personnel arriving in the area, found the fire was actually in 3700 block of West 37th Place, in the Livingston Ranch subdivision. A house under construction was completely on fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished but the frame structure was completely destroyed. The house had been approximately 30 days into the construction process. Police and fire investigators are working to determine the fire’s cause. Anyone with information about this fire is asked to contact YFD Fire Investigator Juan Huerta at 373-4850, the Yuma Police Department at 373-4700, or 78-Crime/Silent Witness at 782-7463
