Students at Kofa High School Under Investigation for Alleged Hazing

The Yuma Police Department has begun an investigation in reference to allegations of hazing by members of the Kofa High School Boys Soccer Team.  

The Yuma Police Department is working in conjunction with Kofa High School and Yuma Union High School District. The investigation involves the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. 

No arrests have been made and the investigation is in its preliminary stage.

Yuma Union High School District Superintendant Toni Badone said, "The district takes allegations of hazing very seriously and are committed to deterring this type of behavior. Kofa High School Administration has met with the teams and parents involved in this continuing investigation."
