ACC Seeks Public Comment On APS Rates

Yuma, Arizona - City of Yuma Council Chambers will host a special open meeting of the Arizona Corporation Commission 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29.

During the meeting, the Commission will be taking public comment regarding a rate application by Arizona Public Service Company (APS).  

The meeting will be open to the public. Council Chambers are located insideYuma City Hall, One City Plaza (located at 3rd Street between 1st and Madison avenues).

No votes on any substantive matter will be taken during this public comment session. However, the Commission may move to adjourn to executive session to discuss legal advice or hold specific discussions as outlined in Arizona Revised Statutes.

For those who cannot attend, the meeting will be televised live on City 73, the City of Yuma's government channel available on Time Warner Cable or over the Internet at www.yumaaz.gov/tv. For those who cannot view the meeting at the 6 p.m. start time, it will be available via video on demand through Time Warner Cable channel 71 or the City's web site.
