There were over 200 runners for the 2009 Great Yuma Road Race.  Athletes between the ages of 6-89 males and females turned out for this annual event on February 14, 2009.

The Great Yuma Road Race has been a favorite annual event for more than ten years.  The overall winner of the 5K males was Jim Mount 17:49 (age 41). The overall winner for the 5K female was Heather Gray with a time of 20:24 (age 34).  The 10K overall male winner is John Noonan (age 49) with a time of 35:49. The female 10K overall winner is Stephanie Landy (49) with a time of 47:21.
