Yuma, Arizona - Election Day in Yuma County is tomorrow, November 4th, 2008. Yuma County is holding the election; however, there is one City of Yuma question on this ballot, Proposition 400.
Residents who are interested in the latest results pertaining to this singular question may find them on the City’s web site and cable TV channels on the evening of Election Day and on the days that follow.
On the web, visit www.YumaAZ.gov/election, where Proposition 400 results will be updated periodically as they are released. Time Warner Cable subscribers may tune in to channels City 73 and Ciudad 72, where the bulletin board will flash the latest tallies.
Additionally, the City of Yuma plans to issue news releases that evening for the benefit of e-mail subscribers who have signed up using the News From the Source link on the City’s web site.
For those wanting complete election results, they will be shown in person Tuesday evening at the Yuma County Board of Supervisors Auditorium, which is in the Yuma County Administration Building at 198 S. Main St. in downtown Yuma. Additionally, they may be viewed on Time Warner Cable channel 77 or on the Yuma County web site at http://www.co.yuma.az.us/. Yuma City Hall will be closed to the public Tuesday evening following completion of the regularly scheduled Yuma City Council Worksession.
