Children’s Festival of the Arts
The 15th annual Children’s Festival of the Arts will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 on Main Street in Historic Downtown Yuma. The event and all activities are FREE to the public. This popular special event will give children and adults alike an opportunity to “Experience the Magic of Art” by offering a variety of creative experiences – visual and performing. There will be lots of fun, hands-on arts activities and projects for children of all ages as well as continuous live entertainment throughout the day by local and visiting performing artists. Schools throughout Yuma County have been invited to submit outstanding artwork by their students for the Student Art Exhibition which will be displayed in the Yuma Art Center Galleries.
In keeping with the overall ongoing vision of Children’s Festival of the Arts – Art Brings Us Together, event organizers expect the public will leave the festival with a greater appreciation for the arts and how significantly they enrich our lives.

Graffiti Hot Line
Please consider storing the Graffiti Hot Line, (928) 329-2828, on your mobile phone, then call it every time you notice graffiti in our area. All you need to provide is the specific location, and it takes just a few short moments. The Graffiti Busters trailer crew usually has the mess cleaned up in a day or two and turns evidence over to police. Help keep our community clean!
