On Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 6:52 am, the Yuma Police Department responded to an injury accident at 16th Street and Avenue B.

On Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 6:52 am, the Yuma Police Department responded to an injury accident at 16th Street and Avenue B.

The collision involved a passenger car and motorcycle.  The adult male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the passenger car is currently being interviewed and the collision is under investigation.

Please use alternate routes as 16th Street and Avenue B will remain closed for an undetermined length of time.

Anyone that witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Yuma Police Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit at (928) 373-4700 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
