City of Yuma Councilmember Jacob Miller
Born in Tucson Arizona, Councilman Jacob Miller moved to Yuma in the first grade and has lived in Yuma for the past 28 years. He graduated from Kofa High School in the year 2000 and shortly after married his high school sweetheart Denice Allen in 2004.
Together, Jacob and his wife have three children. Born in 2005 - Jade Renae is their eldest child and only daughter. In October of 2008 they were surprised with twin boys Jonah Craig and Chase Michael.
The Miller family has long been active in the Christian church, serving often and in various capacities including a mission trip to Honduras. In April 2014, Jacob and his wife Denice were ordained and serve today as Pastors of Destiny Christian Church’s Yuma campus.
Jacob worked for MAC Electric Inc. for seven years where he managed a multi-million dollar budget and worked as the Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, and Business Manager. Currently, Jacob is the Construction Manager for JSA Company and responsible for managing multiple projects.
After attending the Yuma City Leadership Academy in 2013 Jacob became a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Jacob has always shown commitment and support to policies that are in the best interests of our families and the Yuma business infrastructure. Councilman Miller is committed to the future of the City of Yuma and the opportunity to lead on council through servanthood.
