Description

On Friday, November 21st from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Walmart at 2900 South Pacific Avenue, the Yuma County Safekids will host a child seat inspection event.

Beginning in January 2009, the Yuma Police Department plans to host quarterly child seat inspection events in the Yuma area to further educate the public on the importance of proper installation and use of child seats. In addition to the four quarterly events, the public may contact the Yuma Police Department for questions or assistance with proper installation and use of child seats.

The local media is encouraged to attend the child seat inspection event on Friday.  If you plan to cover the event, please contact Clint Norred at (928) 373-4715.

The event is free to the public.
