The Optimist Club of Yuma host the 31st Annual Catfish Rodeo!  Youth will take a chance at catching one of ten tagged fish for prizes. While the Catfish Rodeo is going on, everyone is invited to take part in the Nature Fair.  Kids can shoot a bow, learn about gun safety, and see animals that live in our Desert environment.  Participants should bring their own bait and fishing gear; a limited supply of gear is available on loan from the Arizona Game and Fish Department.  Other partners for this event are U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Bureau of Land Management, and the City of Yuma Parks and Recreation Department.

The cult classic screening is back in the Historic Yuma Theatre just in time for Halloween! For over 40 years, Jim Sharman’s science fiction parody has delighted audiences and terrified parents.
