Camp Inferno

Are you ready to feel the burn?!

CAMP INFERNO is an adventure immersion program allowing participants to experience a day in the life of elite women in fire and life-safety services. The goal of the program is to afford the opportunity for “real world” experience where young ladies are encouraged to challenge themselves on numerous physical and mental fire-fighter tasks in a controlled  setting. Your child’s safety is always our number one priority and we will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure a safe and responsible camp day.

Open to all GIRLS ages 14 - 18 Registration includes lunch, dinner, snacks and a Camp Inferno tee shirt.

On Wednesday January 13, 2016 at approximately 11:15 am, a mutual aid request was received from Rural Metro regarding an injured person in the desert near Highway 95 and Avenue 12E. YFD personnel with a fire engine and paramedic unit were dispatched to that area. Additional directions were given that led the YFD personnel to an area approximately 2 miles into the desert. Due to rough terrain the engine was parked and personnel continued on in the paramedic unit.
