The City of Yuma intends to adopt a new Land Use Assumptions and Infrastructure Improvements Plan this year, and development fee update next year. Residents are invited to review the Land Use Assumptions and Infrastructure Improvements Plan prior to adoption scheduled for the May 17 meeting of the Yuma City Council.
The plan covers the City’s North Service Area, north of and including 56th Street, which is the vast majority of Yuma as currently developed. The draft covers the following necessary public facilities:
- Parks and Recreation facilities.
- Yuma Police Department facilities.
- Yuma Fire Department facilities.
- General Government facilities.
- Streets facilities.
The draft land use assumptions and Infrastructure Improvements Plan are both available for viewing here. Previous information for comparison is located on the Development Engineering page of the City of Yuma’s website, www.yumaaz.gov.
Adoption of the Land Use Assumptions and Infrastructure Improvements Plan will be held during the regularly scheduling meeting of the Yuma City Council on May 17, 2017, in Council Chambers of Yuma City Hall, One City Plaza. Council meetings start at 5:30 p.m.
