The City of Yuma will provide necessary upgrades to its telephone system Tuesday evening. As a result, customers will not be able to leave voicemail for City employees for approximately 2 hours after City Hall closes at 6 p.m.
Likewise, calls to the main line, 373-5000 will not go through, and the automated voice menu will not be available to anyone who calls that number during this system maintenance.
Customers will still be able to send email to City employees during this time. Customers who have a question but do not know the email address of the City employee may use the tab on the left-hand column of the home page of the City's website, www.yumaaz.gov, click on "Connect with Us" and find the most relevant issue or department on the left-hand column there. Or simply try again after the outage ends, approximately 9 p.m. or so.
