What Can You Do?
There are many simple things you can do to prevent your car from being stolen.
- Lock your doors
- Take your keys with you when leaving your vehicle
- Close your windows
- Park in well-lit areas
Take It One Step Further
Take it one step further by adding the following to your vehicle:
- Audible alarm system
- Steering wheel lock
- Wheel locks
- Window etching
- Theft deterrent decals
Professional Thieves Always Find A Way To Get What They Want!
Make It Harder
Make it even harder for them by also using the following devices:
- Keys with computer chips that must be present to start the vehicle
- Kill switches
- Ignition disablers
Go All Out!
If you want to go all out... use a tracking system for your vehicle!
- Some vehicle makes come with these installed and simply need to be activated
- There are some after-market versions available as well
- Tracking systems do work. The chances of your vehicle being recovered increase greatly if you have this type of device installed.
