What Can You Do?

There are many simple things you can do to prevent your car from being stolen.

  • Lock your doors
  • Take your keys with you when leaving your vehicle
  • Close your windows
  • Park in well-lit areas

Take It One Step Further

Take it one step further by adding the following to your vehicle:

  • Audible alarm system
  • Steering wheel lock
  • Wheel locks
  • Window etching
  • Theft deterrent decals

Professional Thieves Always Find A Way To Get What They Want!

Make It Harder

Make it even harder for them by also using the following devices:

  • Keys with computer chips that must be present to start the vehicle
  • Kill switches
  • Ignition disablers

Go All Out!

If you want to go all out... use a tracking system for your vehicle!

  • Some vehicle makes come with these installed and simply need to be activated
  • There are some after-market versions available as well
  • Tracking systems do work.  The chances of your vehicle being recovered increase greatly if you have this type of device installed.
