Residential And Commercial Water Meters

All residential and commercial water meters are read and billed, along with any other applicable sewer and sanitation charges, bi-monthly.  Meters are manually read, or read electronically using radio equipped meters with an Automated Meter Reading system.  Meters record in cubic feet, with utility bills calculated in hundred cubic feet.  The bills indicate usage in hundred cubic feet and gallons.

Construction Meters

Construction (Roving) meters are also read bi-monthly according to a planned reading schedule, given to the customer at the time of sign-up.  Meters are to be taken to the City of Yuma Public Works building, 155 W 14th St, on the dates and times indicated on the  schedule.  Failure to do so results in a fee charged to the account.
