The City continues the Master Thinker TM Program, which has brought recognition to Yuma as the "City that Thinks", according to Edward deBono, the world’s expert on thinking systems. As we continue to build a "Community of Thinkers", employees are invited to participate and acquire the skills and process techniques needed to make the best decisions for their department as services are being provided to citizens in Yuma, and throughout the organization. Employees work to improve the City's overall capacity for effective decision making, creativity and innovation throughout the community Being a part of the group of credentialed Master Thinkers TM enables staff to have the skills, discipline and techniques beneficial to be able to explore and look at various subjects from various perspectives.
