Councilmember Leslie L. McClendonCouncilmember Leslie McClendon was elected in the September 2007 Primary Election with over 60% of the ballots cast, and her four-year term runs through December 2011.

A graduate of Yuma High School, Councilmember McClendon‘s roots are deep in the community.  Leslie was born and reared in Yuma where she attended Arizona Western College and married her husband, Bobby McClendon, Jr.   They have been married twenty-two years and have four children, Bobby, Amanda, Tiarra and Justin, and three grandchildren. 

Leslie is an active member of Fort Yuma Rotary, The Yuma Library Foundation, and has been involved in many youth organizations.  She has been in the travel industry for over 23 years and is currently the General Manager for Tour West Travel.  During those 23 years, she has traveled to many countries and seen many exciting things.

Councilmember McClendon’s hobbies include reading, watching movies, riding their quad in the desert, and spending time with her family.
